Ayam Kriwil at Balai Pustaka Rawamangun Jakarta

September 19th, 2017. I knew this place from Tasya *thanks a lot gal* She asked me to join her to try Ayam Kriwil. So, when I planned to visit Kelapa Gading area, I visited Ayam Kriwil in the morning.

When I heard from Tasya, I thought it’s a small place with no AC. LOL. When I arrived at the place, it was such a beautiful restaurant with lovely outdoor area and spacious indoor area. They asked if they needed to turn on the lights, and I said NO to them hahaha. “Please let the lights off.” I met the chef, and we talked about everything. He was very nice. We waited for Tasya to come, and when she came, I said to her, “OMG! The place is beautiful.” I was very happy hahaha..

Pisang Nugget Choco Milo 25k

When they served all the food and it was all full of chilli, I was shocked.
Hahaha. Yeah, I didn't really like spicy food.
But, I had to try their food, right? LOL. Just gimme more water. 😀
Their chicken dish was good. The chicken was tender and flavourful.
But my favourite was the tahu telor. It was very good.
Well-seasoned with no spicy taste hahaha.
The texture was very soft and addicting!
Too bad I didn't try the pisang nugget.
They put it in inside first, and we totally forgot to try it.
I will try it next visit!

Thank you Ayam Kriwil. See you next time.

Bake-a-Boo at Pluit Karang Jakarta

November 5th, 2017. I was curious about Bake-a-Boo first outlet. That’s why when my sisters asked me to join them to a culinary journey in West Jakarta area, I was agreed. And we squeezed Bake-a-Boo in our list.

I really loved the place. More than I love the Menteng outlet. They have tables and seats with lovely ambiance and warm atmosphere. When they opened this place, they invited me. Too bad, I wasn’t available at the time. So, it’s fun to finally visited the place.

Es Kopi Susu Baileys 32k

OMG! It’s dabest! I really love their es kopi susu baileys. Some people said that it’s too milky, but it’s really perfect for me. It’s good without baileys. But with baileys, it’s super good!

Es Tjokelat Baileys 37k

When I said their es kopi susu baileys super good, this es tjokelat baileys was super super super good! The dark chocolate with rich texture and velvety flavour. Super love! Ok. Stop with the word super hahaha. Definitely favourite!

Great job Bake-a-Boo. Now you officially have my heart.

Lemari Kopi at Ruko Sektor 1.1 BSD City Bumi Serpong Damai Tangerang

November 3rd, 2017. When a friend told me about his new coffee shop, I was very happy. Well, it’s always a happy thing to see a successful friend. They called it Lemari Kopi.

Located at Ruko Sektor 1.1 at BSD City, Lemari Kopi settled in a busy area. A crowded environment with so many people around. When I stepped inside, I felt like I was in different world. Dominated with wooden furnitures, they managed to make the place very comfortable.

Kopi Soesi 17k

Actually I wanted to try their ice version, but when it came in a hot version, it was okay. LOL. I guess my friend was nervous hahahaha. But at the day, I drank a little too much coffee, so I think I will try the ice version next time. It was good, delicious with not too creamy texture. And the unique thing, they gave “kacang rebus” as the side kick. Hahahaha.. And I craved “pisang goreng” then. What a powerful desire, right? *giggling*

Teh Batu 15k

It’s hot tea with rock sugar. A traditional drink from a long time ago. We asked for ice cube, since we felt hot, and needed cold drinks LOL. I loved the presentation. The glass was lovely.

Actually they wanted to give us food, but we’re in a hurry, so next time yaaaaa. Anyway, congratulations Lemari Kopi for the opening.

Casserie Café + Pattiserie at Anggrek Loka BSD Bumi Serpong Damai Tangerang

November 3rd, 2017. I didn’t remember how I found this place. I think it’s the time when I scrolled my IG timeline to find new coffee shops. Well, the point is, Casserie was in my list. So, when I had chance to visit BSD, I took time to visit that café pattiserie.

One hidden gem. It was not easy to find the place, but it was not hard either. Just search it in your maps. With no parking area, we were a little bit confused with our car. But then, they told me to park our car at the coffee shop next door. Quite funny, actually hahahaha.. Occupied 2 levels of the building, I found it a nice one. Old fashioned but comfortable.

Red Velvet 25k

Pretty in presentation and delicious in flavour. Actually I was in a condition of too much coffee, so I asked them to bring me something non-coffee and not chocolate. Voila! Very good! One big glass of red velvet with thirst-quenching and refreshing effect.

Kwetiaw Goreng 25k

Well, a little bit disappointed since I asked for a non spicy one, and it came in spicy flavour. *sobbing* But! It was super delicious. LOL. So, yeah I forgave them. Hahahaha.. The texture of the kwetiaw was perfect! Tasted like my Mom’s homemade fried kwetiaw. So if you miss your Mom’s cook, I think it’s one perfect dish for you.

Walking Drums at Pati Unus Kebayoran Jakarta

June 9th, 2017. OMG! It’s been too long since I went to Walking Drums. Actually, I had a breakfasting event there with Aline, so I waited for her, and sat there a little while.

I loved their outdoor. It’s not big, but comfortable. The indoor was actually not too cosy, but it’s better for non smoking area. Friendly people and delicious food. What could go wrong?

Hazelnut Latte 35k

Love the hazelnut latte. I think they have one of the best latte I’ve ever tried. Perfect texture with perfect taste.

Carrot Cake 20k

Trust me! It’s super recommended! I never liked carrot cake, but their carrot cake, so far, the best for me. It was moist and soft and fluffy with not too sweet flavour but perfectly delish. Super duper recommended!

They opened new outlet in Kemang area. Definitely a must visit place. Anyway, congrats for the opening!

Eight Wheels Coffee and Eatery at Ruko Times Square Gading Serpong Tangerang

November 3rd, 2017. Opened in August, Eight Wheels Coffee and Eatery was quite new. Actually I was a bit hesitant to go there since I’ve never been in Ruko Times Square. I had my doubt about the place. But my hubby said, “Let’s try. If it’s not good, you can always walk out.” OK!

Located on second floor of Ruko Times Square, Eight Wheels Coffee occupied 2 levels. The 1st level was very small. I think it shared area with a yoga class. The 2nd level was bigger, with smoking area also. And it was beautiful. We felt comfortable with the atmosphere of the place.

Houjicha 35k

I drank too much coffee, so when I saw they have houjicha, I ordered it instantly. And it was very good. Not too creamy, tasted delicious, with unique texture. Recommended!

Hōjicha (ほうじ茶) is a Japanese green tea. It is distinctive from other Japanese green teas because it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal, whereas most Japanese teas are steamed.

Fried “Tape” Choco Cheese 28k

Deep fried “tape” served with choco, cheese & condensed milk

Delicious! I love “tape” served with meisjes and condensed milk. I asked them to reduce the cheese LOL. And they did a great job with this fried “tape.” It was soft and moist. Just the way I liked for “tape” menu.
