September 6th, 2017. I was invited to C’s Steak and Seafood at Grand Hyatt Jakarta. I met several bloggers there. Yes, bloggers. Those who have a blog hahaha. And as usual, they served their famous complimentary bread with tomato dipping sauce.
Before they served their new menus, they’re offering drinks. We could choose lemonade or virgin mojito. I chose virgin mojito, but Cindy and Natasha told me that the lemonade was very good. Well, maybe next time I’ll try the lemonade. 🙂
Red Tuna and Avocado Tartar 180k

Octopus Carpaccio 180k

We tried 4 kinds of appetizer. My favourites were Red Tuna and Seafood Chowder. Red Tuna was very delicious with no fishy smell. Perfect texture too. The Octopus Carpaccio was also good, with tender and mild texture. No hard-to-chew octopus. The Seafood Chowder was the best. Mild flavour, light texture. One bowl and you'll in heaven. Funny thing, I thought the Burrata was poached egg LOL. Actually it's my least favourite.
Love this main course. The fish wrapped in parchment (papilotte). The fish meat was succulent and saturated with flavor. Lots of lemon enhanced the tangy flavour of the fish. And remember, seafood is their specialty. So, never doubt their seafood dishes.

4 pastas were served in front of us. Well, pasta was never my most favourite dish. From those pastas, I prefer Tagliatelle carbonara rather than others. Of course, the black truffle played a big role in it. Everything with truffle, always delicious. LOL.

Mango pannacotta, apple tart, assorted ice cream, chocolate chili cake, caramelized pineapple
Love the dessert platter. It's very convenient for eating with a bunch of friends. My favourite? Surprisingly, the ice cream.
