August 1st, 2017. I knew when Baxter Smith opened its door for public. But I didn’t know whether it’s a casual place or fine dining or else. According to the name, it felt like an intimidating place. *so sorry* So when a media coordinator contacted me to come to the place, I cleared my schedule. LOL.
Baxtersmith comes to present modern steampunk atmosphere suitable as a dining area and bar, with emphasis on the service warm and welcoming to all visitors. Baxtersmith has the Dining Room with a capacity of 150 people and the Lounge & Rooftop with a capacity of 300 people. Backed with banquet facilities for the purposes of private function, gathering, birthday, product launchings and other events. We have a unique menu prepared by reliable chef, using the best selection of ingredients guaranteed to pamper visitors. Feel the real steampunk nuances only in Baxtersmith – Dining, Lounge, & Roofbar, Senopati.
Baxter Smith divided into 3 levels. The 1st level: dining. The 2nd level: lounge. The 3rd level: roofbar. And it’s not as intimadating as I thought. Well, maybe it felt like that because of the dim lightings. The only bright area was the roofbar. And it’s the most gorgeous area at Baxter Smith. Located at Suryo street Senopati district, it was named after a famous blacksmith from London, Baxter Smith. I love their logo, an English bulldog wearing a tall hat and a monocle on its right eye. After I tried all of the food, my favourite was Slow Roast Duck Breast. It was tender and delicious. The duck jus enhanced the flavour of the meat. Love the Pan Seared Salmon too. Well-seasoned with delicate salmon. The Tuna Tataki was also a favourite. The texture was overwhelming. If you're burger lovers, you should try their Baxter Beef Burger. The beef patty looked dry, but when you bite it, it's so tender. Recommended.
Mango Pannacota 40k
creamy mango pannacota, berries, crumble and mango sauce
Super recommended. The texture of the pannacota was stunning. The mango was sweet and tasted so adorable. Uhlala.. I want order it again and again and again.
