What a lovely staycation, celebrating my birthday. I went to Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran alone because hubby was still at work. I came to the lobby and I was amazed. It’s so big. I felt like a commoner in beautiful castle.
The hotel provides easy and convenient access to any part of the city and various destinations. Strategically located in Kemayoran business district , Sunter and shopping centers, and closest way to culinary area of Kelapa Gading. Integrated in Kemayoran Area, within walking distance to MGK (Mega Glodok Kemayoran), nearby Jakarta International Expo Kemayoran, Bandar Golf Kemayoran, only 5 minutes drive to Kemayoran toll gate and providing easy access to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
Before I show you my room. Let me show you the lobby and the Plumeria Lounge. Located at the Lobby area with a seating capacity of 148, Plumeria Lounge serves a wide variety of beverages with specialty Indonesian beverages, delectable cocktails, international wine selection and afternoon tea.

LIVING ROOM
I loved my spacious living room. When I opened my door, I was stunned. But I stayed cool in front of them hahaha.. When I was alone, I couldn’t stop smiling and taking Instagram Stories LOL. They have this long dining table. Then a sofa with coffee table to watch the movie from the TV. So good, right? Then, at the corner, they have working desk. A really nice desk to do my blogging things.
BEDROOM AND BATHROOM
Surprise! Yes, they decorated the bed with rose petals. I wanted to cry! OMG! Thank you thank you thank you. Can’t thank enough. The bed was huge! Loved it! The bathroom was also very comfortable. And there’re rose petals in the bath tub. OMG! Totally in love with the bedroom and bathroom!

ROOM SERVICE
Since I was very tired from my previous cafe-hopping, and my hubby was just went to hotel directly from office, we ordered room service. I ordered Nasi Goreng Kemayoran. Indonesian fried rice served with chicken satay, grilled prawn, fried egg and prawn cracker. My hubby ordered Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box. Grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce served with mixed salad, steamed rice and miso soup on the side. So delicious!
BREAKFAST TIME
Located at the Lobby area with a seating capacity of 162, Cattapa Restaurant serves a-la-carte and buffet options with a wide variety of international, Asian and Indonesian cuisine to choose from. The outdoor terrace also serves as a smoking area.
We had our breakfast at Catappa Restaurant. It was a gigantic restaurant. LOL. It’s true. High ceiling with spacious area for smoking and non smoking. So awesome! I think children will love eating in a huge area like the place. They could running around without annoying other guests. Hahahaha.. And I loved their variants of the food. But, we had to eat fast since we had to go to Ancol for Mom’s one year memorial. *love you Mom* Great thing, the hotel gave us shuttle service to Ancol. Yaaaay. Thank you! Well, they also had shuttle service to MOI. We used the service for later. Another yaaaay.

BUFFET DINNER
On the second nite, we could choose for room service or buffet dinner. We took buffet dinner. It’s a complimentary from them. Actually we could have lunch too, but we chose to have lunch outside. Ok, let’s get back to the buffet dinner. We had a great dinner experience there. Love all the food.

BREAKFAST IN BED
Another complimentary. Breakfast in bed! It’s our first time actually hahaha.. and we loved it, since we didn’t have to do anything. Just sitting in the bed and having the breakfast hahaha.. Thanks Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran for the lovely experiences.
