March 12th, 2014. Le Meridien held another event co-operate with Illy master barista, Eduardo Vastolo. It was called A New Perspective Event – Taste the Unexpected Discover éclair. The event took place in 20th Floor Club Lounge.
In this event, they would like to introduce the new global brand campaign for éclair that will be launched around May/June 2014. What distinguishes Le Meridien éclair creations from others are, the size of the éclair is larger than normal éclair in general and the range wide of the toppings with a unique flavours.
They also served us many desserts from their kitchen. Their delicious canapés and cakes were all over the place 🙂
Eduardo Vastolo – Italian Barista from Illy Caffe also explaining about coffee, showcasing the latte art including 3D latte art and pairing the best coffee creation with 3 flavours of éclair.
In addition, they also introduce the program “create your own éclair” where the guests can create their own favourite filling and topping for the éclair. I participated the program. I felt like a kids playing with chocolate and éclair and sweets and everything else. So cute 🙂
And, this is my éclair.. yaaaaaay.. I made the simple one. I love chocolate, so I filled the éclair with chocolate and decorated it with simple decorations.
Éclair at Le Meridien Jakarta is available everyday at the cake shop – La Boutique Gourmande and soon will be available at our lobby lounge – Le Rendezvous restaurant.
