May 5th, 2017. I planned to come to Bandung since beginning of the year, I think. But, we just had time at the beginning of May. It’s Friday. Beautiful day. Too bad, traffic jam! 3 freaking hours! Huft. Poor hubby. But, the show must go on. We were so excited about our cafe hopping in Bandung. Always. This time we visited Sejiwa first.
I heard that everybody talked about this place, and it made me very curious. When I came, I saw a spacious place, dominated with white colour. 2 levels building. They used upstairs for smoking area. By the way, they have those funny murals. Most of them are about wolf and red riding hood, I think. Hahaha.. I asked the people there about the murals, and they had no idea. Maybe the owner will read my blog and tell me why they chose wolf and red riding hood. 🙂 Well, let me show you around through my simple review below.
Home Made Tea 22k
Flat White 26k
As usual, I told the barista that I cannot drink coffee, but I love coffee. So, that’s why they made it very very light. And, it’s too light for me hahahaha but that’s totally fine. Then I put a little brown sugar, and it’s better for my palate.
Grilled Short Ribs W/ Garlic Rice 65k
grilled marinated short rib – garlic butter fried rice – king oyster pakchoy
Love the texture of the grilled short rib. Tender and juicy with sweet flavour. Well, for me, it’s too sweet. If you like sweet ribs, that’s fine. But if you prefer more savoury, maybe you can tell them to make it less sweet. The butter rice was delightful. Fragrant with buttery texture. Love it. Quite recommended.
Lemon Pavlova 35k
My hubby was a fan of lemon. Lemon tea, lemon squash, chicken lemon, you named it. So when I had to choose from the cake rack, I chose lemon pavlova. The texture was moist and soft. The lemon was not really strong, but enough to make my hubby happy. Melt-in-your-mouth.
