April 27th, 2017. I heard about this restaurant because one of the owners is my sister’s friend. But, I haven’t had chance to visit the place. They’ve already had a blogger’s gathering, and I still haven’t visited the place. Hahaha. So, when Muthi asked me to have lunch with her, I recommended several places, and she chose Aromanis. Yaaaay. Finally I visited the restaurant.
Indonesia’s culinary heritage is known for its unique herbs and authentic recipes. Aroma is a cuisine’s fragrance and taste. Aroma defines culinary experience not only from scent, but also from visual, taste and experiences. Indonesia’s cuisines is a must try for culinary aromatherapy. Aromanis is the place to experience a truly traditional and modern Indonesian kitchen that will spoil all 5 of your senses.
A really nice place with spacious area and comfortable seats. I love the playlists too. 90s! Hahahaha. They have this intimate and relaxed ambiance. It’s something different for me who always went to western or italian or japanese restaurants, also those visits to coffee shops. LOL. Yes, I cannot drink coffee, but I love coffee shops. Well, let me show you around the place through my modest review.
Es Teh Tawar 13k
Teh Poci 25k
Tempe Mendoan 25k
I could say that this was one of the best tempe mendoan eveeeeeer. At first, Muthi and I thought the texture looked dry. But when we tried the tempe mendoan, we were very happy. It tasted delicious. The texture was just fine. And the flavour was great. Actually, we planned to be back at Aromanis again for this tempe mendoan hahaha..
Tahu Telor 38k
We loved it. Well, for me, I prefer more soy sauce. But, other than that, it was perfect. The texture of the dish was very soft. Yeah, I always loved tahu telor. And this tahu telor would be better if it’s richer and had stronger flavour.
Nasi Ijo Royo Royo 50k
Pretty in presentation. The green colour was tantalizing. I didn’t really like the side dishes but I love the rice. It was aromatic, smells so good, and perfect in texture. Recommended!
Nasi Gudeg Pincuk 48k
I loved gudeg. Served in pincuk, it was very unique and adorable at the same time. It was also tasty and delicious. Gudeg is a Jogja traditional food. The sweet distinctive taste makes this food is one unforgettable food. I love the krecek. It’s soft and tender. Super recommended dish here. Trust me.
Es Aneka Tape 40k
Es Cendol – Bonus
I prefer this one than the Es Aneka Tape. The cendol was soft and chewy. I will order this one again next time.
Thank you Aromanis for those delicious food. Cannot wait to be back again.
