Back to this favourite hotel, Raffles Jakarta. Remember that I got New Year’s gift from them? One night stay at Raffles Room. I used the gift last month. Just an impromptu act. And it’s always happy to stay at Raffles Jakarta.

Rising above the city’s emerging commercial hub, this hotel is 3 km away from Jakarta Convention Centre also linked to Lotte Shopping Avenue where shopping, dining and entertainment are available and to the Ciputra Artpreneur Centre, an art gallery and theatre complex where the legacy of Hendra Gunawan’s art comes to life.

Raffles Jakarta is a meeting point for art and ideas, business and leisure, glamour and fashion. Service is as generous as it is exemplary, creating an oasis where the well travelled can be themselves, with the space and privacy they need to refresh and recuperate in this most bustling of cities.

Raffles Room (room 1703)

This room provides the feel of a junior suite, with sliding panels concealing the bedroom from the lounge area, for extra privacy. The bathroom has generous proportions, and adjoins a separate dressing area with a vanity table.

The room was actually similar with my previous stay. You can click HERE and HERE to visit my previous review. The difference is only the view from the room. The comfortable bed, the spacious bathroom, the lovely living room. Raffles room is one of my favourite hotel rooms.

BREAKFAST TIME

Arts Café by Raffles. Expect a virtual tableau of art and cuisine, where the palette of sights, sounds, textures and aromas from open kitchens create a delightful sensory experience. Enjoy an elegant buffet, or Continental and Asian à la carte offerings, served in chic interiors and a backdrop of vibrant Hendra Gunawan artwork.

I loved the breakfast. Always love the breakfast at Arts Cafe. Delicious food. Lovely ambiance. Friendly people. It’s very very addicting!
