Always love breakfast time. It’s a time to fill my tummy with delicious food after a long nite sleep. We had breakfast at Arts Cafe. It was such a lovely breakfast. It was raining and the place wasn’t crowded. We really had a good time there. Buffet breakfast was always pleasant. Fried rice, stir fried vermicelli, porridge, and pastry. Not to mention, they had this show kitchen menu.

Brioche French Toast

The best! The french toast was soft and delicate. The banana compote was perfect. The hazelnut paste was sweet and delightful. Such a perfect dessert!


Belgian waffle

The waffle was very crispy. Love it. Tasted delicious. The vanilla chiboust was mild and delicate texture with milky taste. Adorable.

Crème chiboust is a crème pâtissière lightened with stiffly beaten egg whites. Though occasionally using whipped cream to lighten it, this is traditionally a millefeuille cream. Crème chiboust can be flavoured with vanilla, orange zest, or liqueurs.


63°C egg benedict

I was full but couldn’t resist this one. The smoked salmon was well-seasoned and perfectly cooked. The bagel and creamy spinach enriched the flavour of this egg benedict. One of the best.

Enjoy a light meal, tea or aperitif at Navina, apoolside bar amid a lush tropical garden. A Continental and Asian à la carte menu is available, along with fresh fruit juices and cocktails, best enjoyed with vantage views of Hendra Gunawan’s famous art installations.

The garden by the pool was very beautiful. Such a cozy place to just hang around. You don’t have to swim if you don’t want to. Just sit and enjoy the environment. You can bring your book and enjoy your “me time” there. I forgot to bring my swimsuit. So, I guess next time I will be back to try their pool.

From Christmas Buffet Special, starting from 14 – 23 December 2015, thorough Christmas Eve Dinner on 24 December 2015 until Christmas Brunch on 25 December 2015. Price starting from 450k++ per person until 1,150k++ per person, inclusive free flow of beer and wine.

Always love their buffet. All the food are delicious. I recommended their salmon sashimi. It was so fresh and addicting. LOL. Yeah, I love salmon so very much hahaha. I will go back and forth all the time to take as many as possible hihihi..

Love it!! This dish was terrific. Tender and juicy tenderloin with truffle mashed potato. But, I think the mashed potato needed more truffle oil. Yeah, I think so.

Always love angel hair pasta. But still number two after spaghetti. 🙂 The gorgonzola cheese was rich and strong. I love it. Well, cheese was never failed me, I guess.


Seared Scallop Green Pea

The scallop was perfect. Tasted wise with soft texture. We all liked it very much.  I will order it over and over again if my tummy wasn’t too full. *sigh*

Foie Gras Terrine

Foie Gras, Verbena Jelly, Verbena Reduction, Caramel Crambel

The texture of the foie grass was unique. It’s not mild. A little bit hard, actually. And I prefer the mild one. Tasted rich but less creamy.


Wow. What a fantastic experience! Thank you so much Raffles Hotel Jakarta and Arts Cafe. Really really appreciate your hospitality. I had an amazing memory at your hotel. Definitely one recommended hotel to stay for weekend getaway.
