June 7th, 2017. I heard about this coffee shop from Cindy. When Cindy and Natasha talked about visiting KOLO, I was happy hahaha. Yaaaaay another coffee shop! Well, I was a little bit obsessed with coffee shops. I love the aroma, I love the ambiance, I love everything about coffee shop. And after a delicious lunch with Cindy, we walked to KOLO to meet Natasha there.
Located beside ASGAR “Bad Ass”, KOLO is actually a small kiosk with a hidden seat in the back area. There’s a smoking area and non smoking area. I chose the non smoking area because it’s hot outside. Cindy and Natasha ordered the coffee while I enjoyed AC inside hahaha.. Actually there’s already a guy there. Turned out he’s the owner’s bestfriend. He told me that KOLO used to be called Head & Brew. But one thing lead to another, they decided to change the name to Kopi Lokal.

Es Kopi Cokelat 20k
Yaaaaay.. after walking in a hot day, this was my reward! I ordered less coffee. It was very refreshing, not too sweet, love the chocolate flavour and the rich texture. I tried Cindy’s coffee, and I still prefer my version of es kopi cokelat. Cindy’s version tasted a little bit bitter from the coffee.
It’s been fun to explore Panglima Polim area and found this hidden gem. Definitely a keeper.
