Botany Restaurant Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran

February 21st, 2016. Kemayoran was not my playground area.  I just knew that they have Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo), a convention and exhibition center where some of Jakarta’s largest events are held annually, including the Java Jazz Festival. And I never went there too hahaha. So, when Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran asked me to come to their Botany Restaurant, I thought, “Hmmm.. this is my chance to hang out there.” So, I asked my @DailyFoodSeeker’s members to join me and we (6 of us) talked about where should we hang out before and after the buffet LOL. By the way, it’s Oriental Buffet on Sunday. Woohoo!! Pork Pork Pork!

Located at the ground floor of Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran, Botany Restaurant is stealing my heart with their spacious area and their hospitality. Too bad I wasn’t in a good condition. I was having cough and flu. Not in a good mood to eat a lot. But I tried my best. And yes! I could still taste their delicious food. But first, let me show you around the place. They had warm lightings with great view outside. Such a lovely place to eat buffet with your family or friends.

They have menus from everywhere I guess. They have salad, fruits, dim sum, ramen, fish, pork, and desserts of course. I will give you some photos from the buffet. And I can assure you, they were all delicious. I will come back for more deliciousness. Trust me.

#ONTHETABLE

I love their hainanese rice. The steamed chicken was delicious. Tender and tasty. And I love their dim sum. Of course, the desserts were the best. I couldn’t stop eating the lapis surabaya. Hihihi. My favourite. And the guiling gao was very unique. Love it.

They call it “Martabak.” LOL. Yeah, it tasted like one. Sweet, nutty (literally) and milky. Just like “Martabak.” Hahahaha.. So unique, ya..

Avocado Tiramisu Shake

Vanilla ice cream, Milk, Espresso, Avocado, Marcarpone cheese garnish with homemade cookies

Thanks for the good food, Botany. Truly one of the best hotel buffet. Not too much selections but I think it’s enough for breakfast and lunch. So if you are around Kemayoran or Sunter, and need to refill your tummy with delicious food, just go to Holiday Inn Jakarta Kemayoran and have a great lunch there at Botany Restaurant. You won’t regret.
