May 4th, 2017. I saw this one when I was walking around Instagram. It has been opened for around 7 months. It’s time to visit MIKO. At first I thought it’s a Japanese coffee shop LOL. Turn out, it stand for MInum KOpi or drinking coffee. Hihihi. A unique name but very easy to remember.
When I arrived, I noticed that they’re one tiny place in the crowded road of Kelapa Gading. But it’s good that there’s a nice place there. I came inside and I found a small but quite comfortable. There’s only 1 person there at the cashier. Since it’s one busy afternoon on Thursday, so no one’s there, just us. Surprisingly, they’re not just selling coffee, they’re also selling pies from Eighteen Pies. Well, I read that one of the owners of MIKO is Eighteen Pies’ owner.
Iced Red Velvet Latte 38k
Love the sweet flavour of this iced red velvet latte. It’s not too thick but also not too light. Just perfect for a hot day.
Eighteen Pies 12 pcs 200k 6 pcs 100k
Rendang Pies
Sloppy Joes
Creamy Chicken Mushroom with Pork Bacon
Pulled Pork
BBQ Pork (Topped with Sweet)
Tuna Melt
We ordered 6 pies, and after tried all of them, I chose BBQ Pork and Tuna as my favourites. But the rest of them were also delicious. I just chose my 2 favourites. I also loved the thin texture of the pie. Because of the thin texture, the generous toppings added a great value to the pies. Next time I wanted to try their other flavours.
Great collaborations, MIKO and Eighteen Pies. See you soon.
