June 7th, 2017. There’s new coffee shop just opened a week ago. Still trial period, actually. It’s called Harapan Djaya. When I heard the name, a picture of a big bus slipped on my mind. Hahaha. Yes, one of the owner – the famous barista Aga *wink wink* – told us that there’s no theatrical philosophy behind the name. Just a memory of a big bus LOL.
Located on the same building with Orbis, Harapan Djaya is very easy to find. The big sign is very eye-catching. When you came inside, you will find a small coffee shop with a co-roasting concept. The roasting area is still on progress. Love the place, though. It’s very private, it’s easy for you to have a chat with the barista. Fyi, the most special thing, they have this cups with different use, and every time we ordered a drink, they asked us to choose the cup based on the row and the colour. Unique!
Es Coklat Pisang Susu 29k
Delicious with sweet and refreshing taste. Not too banana-ish, not too chocolaty, not too milky. They mixed the ingredients perfectly for a hot day. Rich texture with a hint of creamy flavour. Super recommended!
Kopi Krim 28k
The barista told us that we should order this one. Like the name of this coffee, it’s quite creamy. But in a good way of course. Tasted delicious with a little acidic flavour, I didn’t drink much of it. Just a sip. But it’s really good.
Cappuccino 26k
Didn’t try this one because Cindy and Natasha said that it’s too acidic for me. Thanks gals for letting me know. 🙂
Jajan Pasar: Bacang Ayam 8k
Yaaaay.. the jajan pasar came in time. But at the time they only had bacang with chicken filling. Next time I hope I can order many food there. Or maybe they will have nasi padang for snack? LOL.
Congratulations Harapan Djaya. I will be back soon for another jajan pasar. Hihihi..
