This Eid al-Fitr I didn’t go anywhere. As usual. I just stayed in Jakarta. Taking care of my lovely city. LOL. Then I got a surprise call from a friend of mine. And she offered me staycation at ibis Gading Serpong. Yaaaay. So on Tuesday morning, we drove to serpong area. Hooraaaay.

Located in the heart of the commercial zone of Summarecon Serpong in southern of Jakarta, ibis Gading Serpong is close to Summarecon Mall Serpong, a recreational and sport centre with a golf course. It is also only 25 minutes away by car from Soekarno Hatta International Airport. The 208-room hotel features the new ibis bedding, a Bar and Lounge, restaurant and six modern well-equipped meeting rooms. Perfect for business and leisure travelers. The 208 room ibis Gading Serpong features a lounge bar, restaurant and six modern well-equipped meeting rooms with the capacity of hosting up to 400 guests.

When I stepped inside the lobby, I was stunned. It’s a beautiful one. And I love the petite area at the corner. The friendly lady helped us checking in and asked me to wait at the corner before gave me our key card.

Standard Double Room (room 1503)

Our contemporary 17 sq.m. room features the ultimate comfort of new ibis bedding with Double bed, 29″ television, tea and coffee making facility, in-room safe, hairdryer and bathroom. It offers you the ultimate comfort of sleeping experience by providing bedding that is wonderfully comfortable on every level: microfiber pillows and bolsters, soft large duvet and comfy topper. This air-conditioned double room features a modern design fitted with a seating area, an electric kettle, safety deposit box, and a flat-screen cable TV. The en suite bathroom has a cold and hot shower facility with hairdryer, towels, and free toiletries.

The room was lovely even though it’s not spacious. The bathroom was also small, but it’s clean. Love the curtain. It’s 3 pieces curtains with different colours. And the first thing that I noticed was: bolsters!!! Yaaaay. Finally a bedroom with pillows and bolsters. Hahahaha. So happy. 🙂

LOUNGE

One dazzling lounge near Taste Restaurant. Just before you came to the restaurant, you will meet this stunning lounge. It’s very comfortable and homey. They also put board games on the table. And you can also connect to internet computers. Love the lounge.

DINNER TIME

The “It’s all about TASTE” restaurant reinvents tapas. Try out new flavours by simply creating your meal amongst 20 typical local dishes. Enjoy your own flavour combination!

We had our dinner at Taste Restaurant. I totally forgot the name of our food and drinks. OMG! Such a shame. I will ask them later, then update this review hahaha. I just remember that my drink was dragon fruit and hubby’s drink was kiwi and lime. They served us chicken burger but they changed the bun into the pancake. It was particular, indeed, but really fun. The other one was chicken parmigiana, and I loved it. Served with potato and cheese. Definitely loved the cheese LOL. But I am telling the truth, the chicken parmigiana was dabomb. Super delicious. And, they gave us fried banana with cheese for the dessert. OMG OMG OMG. It’s really really good. Trust me.

BREAKFAST TIME

Because they only have one restaurant, we did our breakfast also in Taste. The restaurant was more beautiful in the morning than at night. Surprisingly the smoking area was lovelier. The options for the breakfast weren’t much but delightful. We also loved the friendly and helpful people there. 🙂
