December 20th, 2016. Lately, it’s been hard for me to start a review. It’s like I didn’t have anything in my head. OMG. I think I should make some opening for my blog. Hmm.. “Hi Eaters”.. and @designerdoyanmakan will kill me hahhahahha.. Let’s try another one..
Heyho!! Me again!! Now I will tell you about 12 new menus from one of Ismaya’s groups. I had a blogger’s gathering on last Tuesday. It’s located in Plaza Indonesia, on level 2. It’s very easy to find the place because it’s one of beautiful place there. Kitchenette Restaurant & Crêperie.
Kitchenette Restaurant & Crêperie is a heart-warming concept from Ismaya Group, where you are the heart and soul of our kitchen. Kitchenette is now open to serve you home-cooked goodness, great coffee, and various fresh off-the-kitchen comfort foods.
The basic premise behind Kitchenette’s concept is to create a social space, in form of a restaurant/café that portrays the experience of dining inside a kitchen of a friend whose family members love to cook.
The design of the space is full of kitchen cabinet, kitchen equipments, and kitchen accessories, integrated with a bit of ‘structured messiness’. The space is also cozy, ‘homey’, and casual. It portrays the friendly atmosphere that you feel when entering a friend’s house/kitchen. This concept works throughout the day – from brunch and all throughout lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, to late night social drinks.
oriental chicken salad, kale, grilled corn, cucumber & sesame dressing
looked like a healthy food. and it’s really healthy. they’re very generous with the well-seasoned chicken. the sesame dressing enhanced the delicious flavour of the dish.
vietnamese fried spring rolls, minced chicken, carrot, jicama & chilli vinegar sauce
it’s a really good to start your meal with a delicious starter. for example, this spring rolls. always prefer fried spring rolls than the steamed one. it was also very generous fillings. the minced chicken mixed exquisitely with the vegetables.
Pachyrhizus erosus, commonly known as jicama, Mexican yam bean, or Mexican turnip, is the name of a native Mexican vine, although the name most commonly refers to the plant’s edible tuberous root.
