March 16th, 2017. Aline, Cindy and I had an invitation around Senayan area. So when Cindy got invitation near our previous foodtasting, we agreed to go with her, since we never went to the place. The Prohibition.

When I stepped inside the place, it felt like I came to a different world. It felt like I was in “The Great Gatsby” movie. OMG I hope I could meet Leonardo diCaprio hahaha.. Unique thing about this Prohibition, they have this special hidden area for member only. Reminiscing the moment at the time. Speakeasy was the hidden bar. You can come inside the bar from outside the Prohibition. Find the “toilet” and open the door inside the “toilet” and you will find a way to Speakeasy. Voila.

This was the starter. A very big one. Generous portion. I didn’t have the courage to eat much because there’s jalapeno hahahaha.. So, I just tried one nacho and stopped. LOL.
Truffle Pasta 160k
Fresh Italian Black Truffle, Classic Eggs Sauce, Fried Basil.
They’re using fresh truffle imported from Italy, instead of oil truffle. Generous truffle! It’s smell so good when it served on our table. Recommended pasta! It’s one simple dish but the result was devastating.
Squid Ink Pasta 110k
Squid Ink Pasta, Capers, Sour Spicy Classic Italian Tomato Sauce, Sauteed Squid with White Wine.
Actually when I knew this pasta based on tomato sauce, I was a little bit in doubt. For me, only my mom could make a great pasta with tomato sauce. But, after one spoonful, I could say that this one almost similar with my mom’s homemade pasta sauce. Almost! Remember! hahaha.. *miss you mom* The squid was delicious. Not too chewy, not too hard. Actually, it was juicy and tender. Love it.
AUS Bone-In Ribeye serve with Salad, Roast Potato & Creamy Foie Gras Sauce.
Huge portion! They said that they used foie gras as the sauce. Whoaaaaa.. no wonder it’s pricey, right? I think we asked for medium level of the ribeye. I think. I forgot hahaha.. Tender and juicy ribeye, served with creamy foie gras sauce. Super recommended!
Peach Cobbler 60k
Traditional American Recipe, mixture of Cake & Casserole, serve with Ice Cream.
A nice dessert. Sweet and luscious.
Chocolate Fondant 55k
New York Classic Molten Chocolate Cake serve with Ice Cream.
I didn’t really like molten chocolate cake, since everybody made it. But after a bite, I changed my mind. I love this dessert. Perfect texture and rich chocolate flavour. Favourite.
Bathtub Gin Punch 350k
Prohibition gin with elderflower liqueur, homemade hibiscus soda, homemade lemonade served with pomegranate seeds and lychees.
A different kind of drink. It’s cocktail, served in a bathtub hahaha. And it’s really good. I stopped drinking, but I couldn’t resist this cocktail because of its presentation hahaha..
