March 19th, 2017. I love Italian food. Lasagna, always my favourite. And now, I found new love. Risotto! Risotto is a northern Italian rice dish cooked in a broth to a creamy consistency. Hmmm.. mouth-watering, right? And that Sunday, I came back to one of favourite Italian restaurant. Rosso.

Influenced by the region’s culture and natural resources, this personable gentleman appreciates cooking creations with fresh, healthy ingredients. All his practice and knowledge can now be seen in his signature dishes.

Buffet Menus: Rolled Beef Carpaccio with Rocket Salad, Mozzarela Cheese, Calzoni Pastry Salmon and Potato, Grilled Chicken with Capsicum, Grilled Vegetable with Ricotta Cheese, Pan Seared Salmon with Lemon Mustard and Braised Union, Trio Mushroom with Celeriac and Herbs, and Yellow Basa Fish Roll in Tomato and Basil Pesto. Butter Fish with Puttanesca sauce, Oven-baked Stuffed Capsicum and Oven-Baked Cannelloni Pasta with Spinach and Pork. etc.
I love all of them on my table. But my favourite was the oyster. OMG! Firm and slippery at the same time. Fresh oysters, presented on a luxury trolley, all around the restaurant.

Black Bun with Poached Eggs and Salmon Tar Tar served with Truffle Hollandaise Sauce
Love the salmon tar tar. And the black bun made it beautiful at the presentation. Definitely great appetizer to start the lunch. The truffle hollandaise sauce enhanced the flavour of the salmon tar tar. Don’t forget to break the poached egg. Beautiful runny egg yolk. Hmmm..

Beef Tenderloin and Foie Gras. A perfect blend. Juicy tenderloin with melt-in-your-mouth texture of foie gras. Favourite! I also loved the sauteed parmesan spinach. I ate them all hahahaha.. Delicious!
