September 20th, 2016. “I know a beautiful table where we can have our delicious lunch.” There’s a picture of a beautiful table in my Instagram account, and it is the caption. Setting at a gorgeous restaurant with delicious food scattered all around the place. What can I say more about this place? Hmmm.. I will tell you through my photos and a simple review. I should do simple because all I was doing at the place was just eating delicious food and nothing more. Seasonal Tastes at The Westin Jakarta.

Located at 51st floor, Seasonal Tastes offers you a delicious lunch with magnificent view. It’s so beautiful. I knew right away, I could spend hours there. When I stepped out the elevator, I saw nothing but beautiful. The place gave you cool ambiance with casual design and floor-to-ceiling windows that show off heart-stopping views of Jakarta’s city skyline.
Say no more. Let me show you around the place. I really love the place. The people there were so friendly. They are helpful and very attentive. There’re many customers there, mostly women. At the corner table I could hear them singing happy birthday. They were so happy. Like me. 🙂
The restaurant offers seven live interactive kitchen concepts with market style selection including a gas-fired stone pizza-oven and grill for freshly cooked meat, fish and seafood in the center of the stunning buffet stations. Helmed by The Executive Chef Daniel Kuser, Seasonal Tastes offers not only the best International but also local food. Guests could select for their favorite Indonesian dishes including many choices of homemade Sambal (chilli paste) as part of Indonesian condiments for food to enjoy with their dishes.
For sweet-tooth, Seasonal Tastes also provides their signature Indonesia dessert, Martabak Manis with rotating daily toppings such as Pandan Cassava, Red Velvet, Green Tea, and Cookies and Cream.
Seasonal Tastes also features a bar with contemporary twist that offers the perfect setting to indulge in an array of delectable local and international comfort food, paired with carefully curated selection of crafted cocktails and selection wines. The Bar also provides tables by the Al Fresco side (patio) against magnificent view of the city.

My favourites: salmon belly sashimi, seafood (shrimp, clam), corn fritters (from Manado cuisine station), and dim sum (especially the chicken bun). OMG! I ate 3 buns. LOL. The desserts? All of them!! Love love love. I wanna be back there again and again and again. Love the texture of the bun and the waffle. I think it’s one of the best buffet in Jakarta. Trust me! I didn’t really like corn fritters, but I ate 2.5 fritters. Hahahaha.
