Gamsul Jakarta by SK at Ruko Crown Golf PIK Pantai Indah Kapuk Jakarta

November 24th, 2017. Yaaaaaay. Finally I could come to Gamsul Jakarta by SK. It was my plan since its opening. But, never had a chance. When #HIF invited me, I couldn’t come *sobbing* so when my cousin and his wife asked me and hubby to join them for lunch at Gamsul.. whoozaaaaah!


Annyeong! “Straight up from 🇰🇷 Seoul to 🇮🇩 PIK with flavour!” Actually, until now, I didn’t have a favourite Korean restaurant. But after tried Gamsul, I could say it out loud: I LOVE GAMSUL! Ok, I agree that they were a little bit expensive, but I think they used premium ingredients, which is worth the price. Coming into the venue, I was stunned by the beauty of the place. They have this mural of beautiful Korean lady near the stairs. I didn’t go to the 2nd floor. Just the 1st floor. They have bar in the middle with colourful ambiance. Spacious area with friendly people. By the way, you maybe curious about the SK. I never asked them, but I believe it was initial of the owner, Silvia Kurniady. Great job Ms Silvia!

My favourite was definitely Doei Ji Gal Bi. Pork neck. Delicious. Addicting.
The pork meat was tender and juicy. And I love the sauce.
They served it with bean sprouts. Delicious!
The Hae Mul Pa Jeon was very very tasty. It was thick and delicious.
Love the Hae Mul Sundubu-Jjigae. Soft tofu with spicy soup.
Fresh, hot, spicy, comforting, and delicious!
I didn't try the Woo Sam Gyup Teok Bokki, only the tender U.S short plate hahaha
Yeah it was not fair for everybody, but they said it was too spicy for me.
That's why I only ate the tender meat. Hmm.. superb!
OMG! The Ganjang Chicken was super tasty! Tender meat with crunchy skin and mild flavour.
They used Ganjang as the sauce. Ganjang is Soy Sauce.
The bulgogi served in a hotpot like Jeongol.
Bulgogi is a gui made of thin, marinated slices of beef or pork.
Tasty meat in a lightly seasoned broth. Outstanding!
So, my conclusion: all the food was super duper delicious!

Amazing job Gamsul Jakarta for serving us those delectable food. For you Korean-food-lovers, you should try it. Super recommended!

The Fat Pig at Ruko Crown Golf PIK Pantai Indah Kapuk Jakarta

August 13th, 2017. I saw The Fat Pig accidentally as I passed the Ruko Crown Golf area to go to one of the cafes there. It’s time for me to eat, so I asked my hubby to visit the place. Turned out it used to be a different cafe that we have visited earlier. The Fat Pig just opened on August 3rd, 2017. Hooraaaaay. Said my joyful tummy. Hahahahaha.


Since I knew the place, it’s totally familiar. Not many different from the previous tenant, it’s comfortable for lunch or dinner. Love the pigs display on the wall. So cute to see so many pigs LOL. I really love the situation in the front area. Big windows with bright light. It’s very good for me to capture a great photos. So, guys, for those bright-light hunters, come come come.

It’s so delicious! I was happy that finally I found my favourite nasi babi guling. The pork meat was very appetizing.  The skin was crispy, but not too hard to chew. And the satay was tasty enough for me to give fierce look to my hubby when he touched it hahaha.. I didn’t try the sambal. They said it’s so spicy LOL.

My hubby didn’t wanna eat babi guling, so he ordered this nasi kombinasi. The rice consisted of roasted duck, char siew and roasted pork. Hmmm.. looks delish, right? I love the roasted duck and roasted pork. The char siew was just okay for me. I prefer the previous two. Tender meat and tasty flavour. What could go wrong with that?

Mo-Mo-Paradise at Pantai Indah Kapuk PIK Jakarta

January 24th, 2017. Before it’s opened for public, I got a chance to visit them, but unfortunately, I had another event at the same time. So, I had to pass the chance. Well, such a coincidence, I knew one of the owners. And I got a chance to try them in an exclusive private tasting. On a sunny day, we came to the place, ready to attack the food. LOL. Mo-Mo-Paradise.


Located at Pantai Indah Kapuk area, Mo-Mo Paradise is an International restaurant chain from Japan. The first Mo-Mo-Paradise was opened in Kabukicho, Shinjuku, Tokyo in September 1993. The first Mo-Mo-Paradise in overseas was 2003 in Taiwan, and after that followed in Thailand in 2008, China in 2010, Vietnam in 2014, USA and Cambodia in 2016. Until now, in 2016, they have 68 restaurants in 7 countries include Japan.

With warm hospitality from the servers, we were explained about the concept of the restaurant. They have Vegetables Market for the all-you-can-eat side dishes beside the beef. They have 3 kinds of soup and 5 kinds of beef. The drinks were free-refills. *love love love* T&C: 90 minutes AYCE.

Between the sauces, I prefer the Goma sauce than the Ponzu sauce. And the egg were for Sukiyaki’s dipping. But we cooked the egg in the soup. Uuugh, delicious. 🙂

They have 3 kinds of soup. Sukiyaki, Shabu Shabu and Kimchi. In one bowl they can serve 2 soups maximum. We were served 2 bowls.

The sukiyaki soup is sweet and savoury at the same time. The original shabu shabu soup is light yet rich in flavour. But, I favourited the sukiyaki soup. I think it’s the most delicious sukiyaki soup I’ve ever tried. No, I’m not exaggerating. Try it yourself and get ready to be amazed.

I love all the beef, except the tongue. The tongue was a little bit chewy. I prefer beef that melt in my mouth. My favourite was the Wagyu Chuck Eyeroll. But the US Chuck Eyeroll was also good. I could say that they’re really really using premium beef. Right now, looking at the photos, I’m drooling, literally. Congratulations Mo-Mo-Paradise. Welcome to Indonesia!

Nocturnal Cafe Coffee Bar Kitchen at Pantai Indah Kapuk PIK Jakarta

November 6th, 2016. After hopping in Kelapa Gading area, we decided to go to Pantai Indah Kapuk. Gaby wanted to try new place there. So we drove to PIK and searched for new cafe. We discussed about a couple new places and then, ended here. Nocturnal Coffee Bar Kitchen.


From the facade, the place looks promising. Big glass windows, comfortable ambiance and moody atmosphere. A lot of corners to do #OOTD too. There’s a small boutique inside the cafe. And after you came in through a big door, you will find a spacious area. You will find a smoking area, a dining area and right behind the boutique, some quiet corner to do your own things. Well, a simple review will come to you below. Enjoy.

There’s something wrong with my friend’s expression after trying the cappuccino. Then, I tried it by myself. I’m not a coffee drinker, you must know. But, it doesn’t mean I cannot drink coffee. I can still sip a coffee. And when I tried a sip of this cappuccino, I only tasted milk and water. The coffee was just a hint. So, it’s not coffee with milk, but it’s milk with coffee. LOL.

From the texture of it, I said at first to my friends, “Looks so dry.” But since there’s not much variants at the time, we still ordered it. And voilaaaaa.. it’s dry. LOL. The cake tasted like it’s been too long in the dessert stall. The good thing about this cake was the cream. I didn’t like Thai Milk Tea. But this cream *Thai Milk Tea flavour* was delicious. We ended up nibbling the cream. Hahaha..


I love the place. It’s really good to hang out, blogging or just some me time doing anything. Well, maybe I should come back to try their food. There’s nothing wrong to give them another chance, right? Nocturnal, wait for us, okay!

Holyduck Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) Jakarta

July 17th, 2016. I had an invitation to review a new place that serve Balinese cuisine. Located in Ruko Crown Golf, it was easy to find it. I went with my @DailyFoodSeeker foodies. We were doing our job at other place. So after that we went there and enjoyed our moments. Holyduck.


Holyduck is in 2nd level of Holywings. We stepped inside and went to 2nd floor. The ambiance of the place reminded me of Bali. Well, it’s not spacious but it’s quite comfortable to eat with your family and your loved ones. Love the murals, too. And for those who wanna take good photos, don’t forget to reserve the “natural light” table. LOL.

Fried spring roll with duck meat filling and vegetables, served with peanut sauce and combrong chili sauce

Love the spring roll. Crunchy and crispy. Tasted good with generous duck meat filling. It was one of the best spring roll I’ve ever had. Not too oily, with delicious taste of the duck meat. Hmmm… one recommended menu.


Sate Lilit 35k

Fish and chicken satay, wrapped around lemongrass stick, served with Balinese spices

It’s delicious with tender meat. Well-seasoned. Satay Lilit is one of a satay variant from Balinese cuisine. So I knew right away that there will be satay lilit in the menu. If you like satay lilit, you should order this one at Holyduck. Outstanding!

They said it’s very spicy. Well, I thought for a second and I convinced myself to try this menu. I couldn’t agree more. It’s very spicy! Too spicy! My friends liked it very much. They said it was one of the best menu there. Well, for those who like spicy chicken menu, you should try this. Spicy-recommended. Hahaha..

It’s their signature. After one bite, I knew right away why it’s their signature. 🙂 It doesn’t need trying very hard to impress me. The duck meat was tender and juicy. The skin was crispy yet delicate. Tasted so delicious, I believe I will order it again and again and again.

Juicy and tender duck meat. And I love the sauce. It’s really enhanced the taste of the duck meat. It’s my second favourite duck dish at Holyduck, after the signature crispy duck. It’s spicy but I couldn’t stop eating it. And yeah, I think I ate 2 portions of white rice. LOL.

Betutu is a Balinese dish of steamed or roasted chicken or duck. This highly seasoned and spiced dish is a popular dish in Bali and Lombok.  The term betutu refers to the use of rice-husks, not “smoked” as it is often mistranslated. Heated by kindling of coconut husks, these piles of rice husks retain their temperature for five hours—the proper time required to cook the bebek betutu.

Epigastro Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) Jakarta

June 20th, 2016. It’s been while since I went to Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area NOT in the morning. LOL. Well, I ordered GoCar for my trip to PIK and waited for my bestfriend, Aline and her sister, Vania to pick me up at the roadside. First destination. Epigastro.


Epigastro, located in Ruko Crown Golf, is a restaurant with healthy concept. They have Epitome. A fitness centre that offers active lifestyle culture and experience. Their motto is: Discover your full potential and reach it by yourself with no pressure. But we won’t talk about the fitness centre. No. No way. Hahaha.. We will talk about Epigastro. kitchen / juice bar / grocer. When I came in, I fell in love with the place in a jiffy. It was very bright with big windows all over the place. The seat with leaves on the wall, my favourite!

The texture of the tofu was perfect. But this was not my favourite at the time. First bite and I just knew that I needed more taste in it. I couldn’t taste the salted egg sauce. Please gimme more. Gimme more salted egg sauce. Pretty please.

In love. That’s what I felt when I ate this dish. The beef cutlet and cheese. A splendid combination on my palate. The organic pasta was in perfect texture, too. And it tasted very delicious. Too bad it’s Vania’s order, I couldn’t take the food and hide it in my tummy. LOL. But this one was recommended! Such a delicious pasta.

organic red and white coconut rice pilaf with sate lilit, urap, bhotok and crispy fried chicken

It was spicy. I knew right away after I saw the sambal matah hahaha. But, I enjoyed the dish. The organic red and white coconut rice pilaf was delicious. Smell good with good texture. The sate lilit were spicy but very well-seasoned. If you like nasi campur bali, you must like this nasi campur bali.

Pilaf is a dish in which rice is cooked in a seasoned broth. In some cases, the rice may also attain its brown colour by being stirred with pieces of cooked onion, as well as a mix of spices.
