Djati Bistro & Drinkery at Oria Hotel Wahid Hasyim Menteng Jakarta

February 14th, 2017. I visited this place after I saw someone’s post about this. I forgot which one, but it looked so pretty in the post. And when I came to the place, it’s even prettier. Djati Bistro & Drinkery opened 2 years ago I think. Good thing I found this one.

Located on second floor of Oria Hotel, I loved the interior and the ambiance. The monochrome floors. The semi industrial intimate atmosphere. It felt so homey. They have small smoking area too. But, I prefer inside. Lovelier. I think I will be back there again for some me-time moments.

Nasi Ayam Rica-Rica 72k

Spicedbowl full of Indonesian flavours of authentic Rica-Rica Sauce, smeared over fried chicken marinated with rice-rica sauce over night, accompanied with sauteed cassava leafs and fried salted teri fish. Served over Rice.

It’s spicy, certainly. I didn’t try this one, let my friend finished it hihihi..

Grilled Boneless Chicken 75k

A Sweet Dish of Grilled boneless chicken roasted over flamed char using sweet soy sauce and butter, complemented by sauteed vegetables with a choice of steamed rice, French fries, of mashed potatoes.

This was very delicious. It’s sweet and flavourful. Tender boneless chicken meat with mushy mashed potato. A great option for lunchtime. Actually, most of the time I ordered grilled chicken, the texture always dry. Not every time, but most of the time. And this time was great. Not dry at all. Rcommended!
