[HOTEL] Resinda Hotel Karawang by Padma Hotels – Premier Suite – Part Two

February 4th, 2017 – February 5th, 2017

Dinner Time

We had our dinner in Oryza Restaurant. I will tell you more about the restaurant on the second day. 🙂 Now we talk about the dinner first. Actually we thought it will be a la carte, turned out the Chef served buffet for us. It’s from Kudus cuisines. They have a large screen TV, so you can watch your favourite channels while eating there. The boys were very happy when they saw the TV, they thought they could watch football there. Hah! Gotcha! No football channel!

Most favourite: skin crackers! It was crispy crunchy delicious. And the fried vermicelli, oh my, it was perfect for my taste bud. Sometimes I got a hard-to-chew fried vermicelli, but this one was perfect! Don’t forget their Gado-Gado Tempura. Such a delicious fusion between gado-gado and tempura. Pindang Ayam soup was one of the best too. Along with Ayam Garang Asem. Those two were my favourite also. Those dishes was surely delightful and everyone loved it.

Day Two

Breakfast Time

With its refreshing design and open-concept kitchen, The Oryza Restaurant promises world cuisine in an uplifting setting. It serves a generous breakfast buffet each morning followed by a menu of international favourites throughout the remainder of the day until late. Indoor and outdoor seating options are available overlooking the pool and garden area.

The Oryza Restaurant is quite spacious for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Maximum 145 people in seating capacity. Quite big, right? Open from 6am for buffet breakfast. Then you can have a la carte lunch or dinner there, until 10pm. Serving international and local selection menus, I love their buffet varieties. They served sushi rolls! Well, just remember that they have a lot of Japanese guests, so Japanese cuisine must included in the menus.

I love those desserts. The waffle was my favourite. And those pastries. Always love donuts. We chose the indoor area for breakfast because it was quite windy outside.

Lunch Time

Hai Wang Chinese Delight

Hai Wang Chinese Delight takes diners on a full-flavoured journey around China with a range regional dishes that date back to imperial times. The main dining room is a refined space with a sophisticated decor and opulent chandelier lighting. Private rooms are also available for a more personalised dining experience.

Serving Chinese Cantonese menu for lunch or dinner, Hai Wang caught my attention with their pork dishes. The pork belly and suckling pig were my most favourites, for sure. We even ordered two portions of pork belly because the first plate finished in a second. Hahahaha.. By all means, we still tried to maintain our attention to the other dishes. The all-you-can-eat dimsum, without a doubt, made full of our table. I took everything LOL.

Do you wanna know my favourite? Oh, you know already. Hmm.. yes, correct! Pork belly! Hahaha.. But for the dimsum, surprisingly, I love the chicken feet. Yes, yes, you heard it right. Chicken feet!!! I think I miss my mom so much that since she’s gone I found chicken feet everywhere. Her homemade chicken feet was the best!!!! Craving for her homemade cook. *crying*

Finally, we had to go back to Jakarta. Back to our beaten path. Thank you so much much much Resinda for the hospitality. See you soon!!! Well, this time, an ordinary car *sigh* LOL. Thank goodness there’s no cap the climax traffic jam. And we said goodbye to each other in front of my apartment. See you next time in another staycation trip. *waving*
