October 12th, 2016. I heard about this coffeeshop right after their opening. But.. because they didn’t open on Sunday, it’s really hard for me to visit the place with my hang-out-buddies. I tried to go there by myself, but I found it’s weird for me to go to a new place without a company. So, when I had a chance to visit on a rainy Wednesday, I took my friend Aline there. Sleepyhead Coffee.
Located in Gunawarman street, Sleepyhead is like a hidden gem there. Small place with no huge sign board, Sleepyhead caught my heart right away after one glance. The outside area is very lovely with 3-4 tables. As for the inside area is very homey. Warm ambiance with friendly atmosphere. Pssst, I went there two days in a row. 🙂

I had difficulty to find french fries perfect for my palate. Only several places that served french fries with my taste bud. And this one is one of them. But too bad, Aline liked it too. Pffft.. she finished it without warn me. LOL.
Corned Beef Fried Rice 43k

We loved this! Right, Aline? But she knew that I needed rice more than her. So, she let me finish it happily. Hahaha. The fried rice was delicious. All the fragrance of a freshly-stir fried rice. Well-seasoned. I just need more corned beef. Hahaha. And definitely next time I will order sunny side up.
Spaghetti TekTek 45k
You will not find anything like these else where. Packed of flavour, minced beef and tomato sauce
The second time I went here, I asked about their spaghetti tektek. The chef said that it’s like fried noodle but instead of egg noodle, he replaces it with spaghetti. It was dabomb!! The collaboration between minced beef and tomato sauce, reminded me of my mom’s homemade spaghetti bolognaise. Very generous minced beef and cheese. And he cooked sunny side up for me. Not included in the menu, actually. Hihihi. Thanks chef.
A place that I will come back again and again. I hope they will serve other menus. Good job, Sleepyhead Coffee. Definitely being a sleepyhead there with their comfortable place and great food. See you soon!
