June 5th, 2014. I was attending an event held by Media Tree. It’s about New Flavour and Ice Cream Creation Press Launch from Häagen-Dazs at Pacific Place. I went there alone, and very surprise that I knew no one. *sigh* But, the show must go on. I found a seat, and tried to blend with others. I met new media people. We talked, we laughed, we took pictures, we tweeted, we ate. Hihihi so fun!!
Häagen-Dazs /ˈhɑːɡəndɑːz/ is an ice cream brand, established by Reuben and Rose Mattus in the Bronx, New York, in 1961. Starting with only three flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and coffee, the company opened its first retail store in Brooklyn, New York, on November 15, 1976. The business now has franchises throughout the United States and many other countries around the world.
Häagen-Dazs ice cream holds the distinction of being one of the few commercial ice cream brands not to use stabilizers such as guar gum, xanthan gum, or carageenan. They now started using corn syrup in many of their flavors, such as the Vanilla Swiss Almond, according to their website. In addition to ice cream, the company also produces ice cream bars, ice cream cakes, sorbet, frozen yoghurt, and gelato.
Who doesn’t love ice cream? I think everybody loves ice cream. It’s the most comfort food in every moment. When you feel blue or happy, you know you need an ice cream. Now, Häagen-Dazs is launching new flavours: Caramel Biscuit and Cream. It is a perfect blend of flavours and textures, which are made of 100% of the original milk, and blend with the crisp Belgian biscuit.
Häagen-Dazs also created 3 ice cream menu.
Caramel Double Fantasy 72k
consists of double scoop Häagen-Dazs Caramel Biscuit & Cream with a brownies as their base, wafer, sliced strawberry, sprinkling of almond, and chocolate syrup.
Is it just me, or this creation was like snowman? Hihihi.. Aaaa I miss Christmas huft.. Caramel Double Fantasy. Love the name. It’s really double my fantasy about a delicious ice cream. The brownies was tasteful. And believe me, your tummy will be full. 🙂 How to make it? Just put the brownies, then one scoop Caramel Biscuit & Cream, then a wafer, then another one scoop Caramel Biscuit & Cream. Voila!!
Caramel Biscuit Carnival 72k
consists of Häagen-Dazs Caramel Biscuit & Cream, Häagen-Dazs Coffee ice cream, cocoa biscuit, with caramel sauce, sliced strawberry and sprinkling of almond.
It’s a combination of Caramel Biscuit & Cream with Coffee ice cream. Sweet and a little bitter. Perfect right? The cocoa biscuit made it more crunchy. I think it’s nice to have a moment with a delicious ice cream. I’m not a big fan of ice cream but I know that this new flavour will become famous. Caramel and Biscuit were so adorable.
Caramel Cookies Sensation 72k
consists of Häagen-Dazs Caramel Biscuit & Cream with Häagen-Dazs ice cream cookies choco, and speculaas cookies with sprinkling of almond.
This is a little bit different from the previous two. Not using coffee ice cream as variation, they used ice cream cookies choco. They used glass too, instead of serving plate. Loving the presentation! For the flavours, no need to explain anything. It’s caramel cream and chocolate. What could go wrong?
