05 April 2013. Tiba2 gw dpt undangan dari Pullman Jakarta Central Park Hotel. Issssssssh, ada apakah? Ternyata ada undangan wine tasting dari Mbak Rita Elisabeth selaku e-Distribution Manager, bekerja sama dengan Dimatique.

Pas harinya itu, gw kebetulan ajak Vivi, keponakan gw, yg sudah beranjak dewasa. En dia mau2 aja 🙂 Walhasil, abis keliling CP en nonton The Croods, gw sama Vivi langsung meluncur ke Pullman. Sampe di sana udah dateng bbrp foodblogger. Banyak undangan2 lainnya juga sih, tp gw gak kenal 😀

Wine pertama yg gw coba adalah Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2011.

This crystal-clear Reserva Sauvignon Blanc is pale yellow in colour with light green hints. The complex and elegant nose offers up aromas of lime, grapefruit, pineapple and pear complemented by floral and mineral touches. In the mouth it is elegant, with crisp acidity that is typical for this variety. On the palate, , more citrus and tropical fruit are evident, with an interesting minerality.
Best enjoyed at a temperature of 10-12ºC, it is delicious as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to salads, shellfish, ceviches and fish. It also goes well with white meats and fresh cheeses.

Gw sendiri gak terlalu suka white wine tp penasaran aja pingin nyobain. Ternyata rasanya emang light en ada buah2 gitu. Jadi seger juga sih. Abis segelas tuh hahaha biasanya gw paling minum icip2 doank.

Setelah itu gw dikasi coba Reserva Merlot 2010.

This Reserva Merlot, ruby-red in colour with hints of violet, is a complex, spicy wine, with a nose of sweet prune enhanced by tinges of black pepper, nutmeg, cinammon, cloves, vanilla and chocolate. In the mouth, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with balanced acidity and a long, spicy finish.
Best enjoyed at 16-18ºC, it is perfect with soft cheeses, pastas and white meats.

Karena ini red wine, gw jelas lebih suka, tp krn ada rasa spicynya gw ngerasa kurang nendang. Maklum, gw gak suka pedes kan hehehehe..

Di suatu kesempatan gw bisa bincang2 sama Ms Vina Ventisquero yang sebetulnya jadi bintang malam itu. Tapi karena sedang hamil, jadinya beliau kurang begitu beredar, sampe2 ada yg gak tau kalo dia itu adalah bintangnya. Hehehehe.. Ms Vina cerita kalo keluarganya di Chile itu baru dari taon 2000 terjun di bidang wine. Hebat yak, baru 13 taon tp udah beredar ke mana2. Salut gw dengan keuletan mereka. Sembari ngobrol, Ms Vina nyuruh gw nyobain 2 minuman yg emang udah gw lirik dr awal krn bentuk botolnya yg unik.

Vertice Syrah 2009

Deep ruby in colour with violet hues. The nose offers black and red berry aromas set off by touches of delicate spice such as black pepper, and other spices, with some hints of vanilla and chocolate resulting from French oak barrel-ageing. The wine has soft tannins, with balanced acidity and a long finish in the mouth.
This wine pairs excellently with Indian, Thai, Mexican and Spanish cuisine and other more complex dishes. It also goes well with semi-mature cheeses and intensely-flavoured meats such as wild boar and deer.

Wah, gw suka banget nih dg rasanya. Apalagi trus coba makan keju dulu, baru minum ini. Sedap bener.

Pangea Syrah 2009

A Syrah distinguished by complex flavours and aromas that mesh together to create something extraordinary. Perfectly ripe grapes and a painstaking fermentation process result in a wine that is especially full-bodied with noteworthy concentration. After an 18-month aging process in French oak barrels, it undergoes further ageing in bottle for another year. This imparts balance and brings into focus all the purity, vivacity and elegance of our Apalta fruit.
This wine pairs excellently with complex dishes such as grill meats, lamb and games.

Nyerah deh gw. Ternyata Pangea lebih enak drpd Vertice. Angkat jempol buat Pangea. Rasanya lebih light, jadinya bs lebih enak dinikmati. Gw cobain juga keju, trus minum ini, dahsyat. Beneran wine yg cocok banget sama gw. Segelas gak cukup hahaahah..

Sayang sekali karena gw udah cape dan agak mengantuk *atau sebetulnya mabuk????* jadi gak sempet tebar pesona foto2 sama yg laen2nya hahahaha.. Gw juga cuma mengandalkan Samsung GNote gw, jadi ya gitu deh foto2nya, apalagi suasananya agak remang2, jadi makin ngantuk hahaahahaha. Tak lama hubby dateng menjemput, dan pulanglah gw dg sukses.

Thanks buat Mbak Rita Elisabeth yg udah ngundang, buat Mbak Imuthia yag udah hahahihi, buat Ms Vina Ventisquero yang udah jelasin asal muasal wine buatannya, juga buat temen2 foodblogger yang udah seru2an di sana.
